UK catering equipment manufacturer Lincat has introduced a new partnership scheme for dealers – the Select Partner programme.
It was launched recently at Lincat’s purpose-built manufacturing facilities in Lincoln.
Designed to bring together dealers who have the ability and infrastructure to provide a full turn-key solution for the design and build of commercial kitchens, the new programme will support the launch of Lincat’s new Opus 800 range of heavy-duty equipment.
Christian Jones, sales director at Lincat, explained: “Opus 800 is very much aimed at those investing in entire suites of equipment, from kitchen refurbishments to complete new build schemes.
“We wanted to develop a network of partners who have the infrastructure to offer a full turn-key solution, from design and installation, to after-sales service.
“Naturally, we looked to our existing dealer network and selected those we have long-established relationships with and who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to the Lincat brand over the years.
“Our Select Partner dealers have been chosen for their knowledge, understanding and experience of supporting all kinds of food businesses.
“The partnership will be collaborative – we will provide thorough training to dealers to enhance their product knowledge, and work closely with them to deliver an excellent service to end users.
“Our new Select Partners will also have access to sales, service and marketing support.”
Nine Select Partners attended a 2-day launch event at Lincat, which included a factory tour, networking sessions and presentations from Lincat MD Nick McDonald, sales director Christian Jones and The Middleby Corporation MD – Europe, Najib Maalouf.
The attendees were: ABM Catering for Leisure, Allsop & Pitts Catering Equipment, Crosbys, Gratte Brothers, Grey Simmonds, HCE Foodservice Equipment, Lloyd Catering Equipment, Sprint Group and Walker Catering Supplies.
Jason Cunliffe, sales director at Sprint Group, commented: “Personally working with Lincat for 24 years, I am honoured that Sprint Group has been recognised as one of the company’s Select Partners.
“The scheme is an excellent way to forge the strong working relationship we have with Lincat and we are confident this will continue to flourish.”
Andrew Bladon, director at ABM Catering for Leisure, added: “Lincat’s British manufacturing, stock availability and 2-year warranty are what make it one of our best-selling brands.
“The Select Partner programme will give us valuable insight into product development, which we can pass onto our customers.”
