Cumbria-based dealer, Lakes Catering Maintenance (LCM), is to refresh its corporate image shortly.
MD Leigh Howard detailed: “We’re in our 15th year of trading and wanted to modernise the brand and celebrate the progress; it felt like good timing. After being a joint director for the last 5 years, I am now approaching 12 months since buying out the previous directors and during this time we’ve taken some great steps forward. We’ve grown our design and installation abilities whilst maintaining a great service business.”
He hopes the rebrand will represent the professionalism of LCM’s team. “We’ve made investments in the skills and experience of the team and it’s that which supports us in delivering great customer experiences. Having worked in the industry for over 25 years to finally fully own the business it felt right to put my own mark on it and move forward with a new look, but still built on the strong service values that Lakes Catering Maintenance was built on.
“For a small company the rebranding has been a challenge; adding this to business as usual has meant extra work but both myself and the team are happy with the results. When it came to the final decision the team were very decisive about the image. We’re almost there, with the final touches now due to the website.”
Howard revealed that the year ahead should bring consolidation of last year’s investments for LCM, as it is now using CaterQuotes and Autokitchen 3D design software. He added: “We’ll be working hard on reviewing our efficiency and a smooth end-to-end experience for our customers. The next step beyond this is for us is to triple the size of our office space in order to accommodate more back office support for the team. We’ll be installing a mezzanine in our current location before we progress to growing the team of engineers.”
