KCCJ is recruiting for three new positions including Service & Sales Administrator, Business & Sales Development Leader and Trainee Project Manager.

KCCJ Ltd is a UK specialist within the commercial catering equipment industry, having operated for over 15 years and completed projects of all scales from one off equipment supply, right up to two of the largest catering contracts ever awarded in the UK. We have three divisions, which include Design & Consultancy, Contract & Project Management, and Construction.

Business & Sales Development Leader

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in Sales and Marketing to be the driving force in the role of Business and Sales Development Leader within the Company.

The primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to generate new sales leads and contracts, and cultivate client relationships

This role will be based in the following location:

• Dartford, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilising a database and other commercial media to source new leads and contracts
• Making initial introductory contact to new and potential clients via telephone and email
• Recording of activities / communications
• Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings for Project Managers to attend
• Planning and preparing presentations of company services to prospective clients
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature
• Processing sales enquiries
• Preparation of estimates when required
• Contribute to the development of plans, strategies and team goals
• Contribute to process improvement and ensure and promote efficient work practices
• Keep management informed on progress or issues

Desired Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience and demonstrated ability in a similar role
• Drive to grow and strengthen company position within the industry

Service & Sales Administrator

We are currently seeking a motivated individual ideally with experience in the Catering Equipment Industry to take on the role of Service & Sales Administrator within the Company.

The primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be taking / activating and coordinating all service calls / repairs and maintenance arrangements and associated procurement activities for KCCJ’s clients. They will produce estimates for one off items of equipment as and when requested. They will provide administrative support to the Projects Department.

This role will be based in the following location:

• Dartford, Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Service Database system with a high degree of accuracy
• Maintain equipment and servicing records
• Receive and activate service and maintenance requests. Activate with appropriate service agent or provider. Follow through to service call completion ensuring customer is satisfied with works undertaken.
• Provide authorative advice and instruction to clients in the procedures of service
• Prepare estimates for requested items of equipment
• Ensure company policy and procedures in relation to Repairs and Maintenance are observed and followed by all service providers and field staff
• Manage and cultivate relationships with clients, team members, field staff and suppliers / service providers
• Contribute to the development of plans, strategies and team goals
• Contribute to process improvement and ensure and promote efficient work practices
• Keep management informed on progress or issues
• Conformance to Company H&S procedures and statutory obligations.

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues and problems which could impact designated tasks

Trainee Project Manager

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Trainee Project Manager within the company.

The primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to cover all aspects of a project from the design stage through to equipment purchasing, installation, completion and handover to the client.

This role will be based predominantly in London and the South East, however there may be a requirement for the applicant to cover other projects around the UK on occasion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the client and agreeing project objectives and brief
• Site surveying
• Liaising with drawing office on production of site layout and service drawings
• Equipment selection suitable to task and client budget
• Site set up and Risk assessment
• Planning program of works to meet key dates
• Recruiting and organising specialists and sub-contractors
• Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure H&S and Quality guidelines are maintained
• Accounting, costing and invoicing.
• Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
• Representing the companies and the client’s interest
• Manage and cultivate relationships with clients, team members, site operatives and suppliers / service providers
• Contribute to the Companies development plans, strategies and team goals
• Contribute to process improvement and ensure and promote efficient work practices
• Keep management informed on progress or issues.
• Conformance to Company H&S procedures and statutory obligations
