Catering equipment distributor Katerbay has struck a deal that will see it launch the Turbo Air brand of refrigeration kit in the UK market.
The company will officially unveil its venture with the Elica Group business next month and expects the brand’s cooling technology and energy efficiency qualities to be a hit with customers.
Katerbay director Killian McGarry said one of the first products to hit the market would be the KUR12-2 undercounter fridge.
“The stainless steel cabinet of the KUR12-2 incorporates a unique cooling system that ensures an even cold air temperature in the inner storage area to preserve meats and fresh produce,” he said. “With a capacity of 311 litres and a temperature range between +0°C and +8°C, the KUR12-2 it is designed to keep food in tip top condition.”
The unit also contains solid, insulated exterior doors that are fitted with easy-grip handles on the outside and liners that resist water condensation on the inside.
Katerbay, which has offices in Ireland London, stocks products from a number of other refrigeration brands, including Liebherr and Angel Refrigeration.
