Cookstown-based JD Catering Supplies has recently completed a project for the Farnham Hotel, situated in County Cavan, Ireland.
As part of the £125,000 refurbishment, the distributor fitted out a new carvery counter front of house and a new combi oven in the kitchen.
JD chose Counterline’s Cube range for all the drop in counters, comprising a mix of cold dessert, multideck and hot drop-ins. The installation in this area was finished off with a hot cupboard. “We picked Counterline due to the modern design of the units which fitted the taste of the project, and the company was also able to complete the order in the desired timeframe,” said JD’s director, Jason Currie.
That projected timeframe was just 3 weeks, but the dealer managed to complete the project early, in 2.5 weeks.
For added production in the kitchen, JD fitted a Retigo 10 grid combi oven, due to its design, function and price, to finish off the specification. Currie added: “The Retigo oven was selected due to the price, energy consumption savings and functions, which wins hands down.”
Retigo’s marketing and sales director, Marcel Vican, visited the site to inspect the installation and teach staff to use the oven.
