Instanta has launched its Barista Pro steam and water boilers, designed to produce large volumes of water with an added steam ‘wand’ for milk frothing.
The new unit is aimed at operators who do not need a multifunctional beverage maker and those who need extra steam during busy periods but don’t want to invest in a larger automatic machine.
Said to be easy to install on a worktop, the stainless steel units feature electronic controls, large high-pressure non-drip taps, and interchangeable steam nozzles – slow for frothing milk and fast for instant boiling.
The WB2 is a 3kW model that heats up in 50 minutes and then promises an hourly output of 138 cups, with a draw off of 78 cups.
The 6kW WB2-6 is the same size as the WB2 – h585mm, w345mm, d640mm – but the extra power should allow the unit to dispense 306 cups per hour, with the same draw off of 78 cups.
Both models come with a drip tray, low voltage switching on all controls, and are designed to be simple to install, with no overflow required.
The WB2 is priced at £1,870.48 (ex VAT) and the more powerful WB2-6 is £1,981.72 (ex VAT).
