Inka brings in top chefs to help spread the word

Inka Charcoal Ovens has roped in some of the north west’s top chefs to demonstrate the capability of its ovens at the forthcoming Northern Restaurant and Bar show.

The company, which now builds the ovens in the UK, revealed it will be hosting a stellar line-up of culinary stars on its stand when the two-day show kicks off next week.

“The pick of the north west’s finest chefs will be bringing their individual touch to the Inka Charcoal Oven and will cook live on the Inka stand on both days in a ‘close up and personal’ setting,” said sales director Gary Scott.

World BBQ champion Andy Annat will be on hand to advise and offer tips and recipes for the upcoming BBQ season, while Mike Jennings (Grenache), Stosie Madi (Parkers Arms) and Dave Mooney (The Lord Binning) will show how the ovens can add value to a menu.

Street food supremo Jason Latham, meanwhile, will be demonstrating the versatility of the equipment for mobile and street food use.

On the second day of the event, Aiden Byrne (Manchester House) along with his head chef from The Church Green, Ben Chaplin, and Mary-Ellen McTague (Aumbry), will show how Inka ovens can be incorporated into an existing concept.

The Northern Restaurant and Bar Show takes place on March 18-19 at the Manchester Central Exhibition Centre.
