Joint industry events organised by CEDA, CESA and FCSI have raised a total of £3,550 for the Hospitality Action charity.
The golf and go-karting days were held over the summer and saw teams of distributors, manufacturers and suppliers take each other on.
CEDA chairman Jack Sharkey was on-hand to present the fundraising cheque to Hospitality Action’s chief executive Penny Moore and commented: “Both the charity golf and go karting days brought members of CEDA, CESA and FCSI together to have some competitive fun and also remember those who perhaps fall on difficult times who have worked in hospitality and who are then supported by the great work that Hospitality Action does.
“We look forward to more events with our industry colleagues and friends in 2016 and to seeing the continued positive impact that Hospitality Action makes during the year. Thanks to all who supported the charity events and for your kind donations.”
