Ipswich-based Hubbard Systems will be showcasing its portfolio of Scotsman ice machines at the CESA Heavy Equipment Forum on 1 October.
The event is being held at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel, near Towcester, Northamptonshire, and will see 15 heavy equipment suppliers demonstrating their products to groups of distributors’ sales representatives.
There, Hubbard will be highlighting the latest Scotsman machines, including Superdicers, nugget dispensers and the new Prodigy range.
Scotsman machines can produce supercube ice cubes, dice cubes, half dice cubes, ice cubelets, nugget ice cubes, flake ice, superflake ice and scale ice.
The latest ice type is the Superdice ice cube. This is claimed to look good but is softer and therefore gentler on blender blades. This makes it suitable for, for example, coffee shops, as it can be used for both ‘on the rocks’ and blended ice drinks.
Superdice machines are said to offer a big capacity in a small, undercounter footprint, for sites with high demand and limited space.
Copies of Hubbard’s “What’s your ice type?” brochure will also be available at the Forum.
