Next year’s Host exhibition in Milan is set to further expand a focus on the coffee bar sector.
This will draw on the fact that the professional coffee machines market is now worth about €900m worldwide – €600m for ‘super automatic’ machines and €300m for traditional machines.
The trade show, on 20-24 October 2017, has featured the Sic international coffee exhibition for the past 23 editions.
In 2017 this will cover four pavilions, increasing its exhibition space by 40% with more than 500 companies participating.
Exhibitors will include leading names from Italy, such as Dalla Corte, Rancilio, WEGA, Nuova Simonelli, Sanremo Coffee Machines, Elektra, Kimbo, Gruppo Cimbali, La Marzocco and Procaffè.
From outside Italy, BWT water+more, Compak Coffee Grinders, Curtis, Bunn O Matic, Blaser Trading, Giesen Coffee Roasters, Cafetto, Marco Beverage, Monin, PROBAT-Werke von Gimborn Maschinenfabrik, Loring Smart Roast and G. Bijdendijk BV have already confirmed they will participate again.
Currently, 65% of dedicated space is already occupied at Host 2017 while the professional foodservice area is at 63% and tableware is at 51%.
