The momentum is continuing for the next edition of foodservice fair, Host, with its 2017 trade show already attracting over 800 exhibitors.
Next year’s convention, set to take place from 20-24 October at Fiera Milano in Milan, Italy, will also feature two extra pavilions than previously, covering 16 massive halls – the entire ground floor of the exhibition centre.
The 2017 edition also marks the 40th running of the show.
The foodservice equipment area for next year is now 63% reserved, with coffee bar equipment space at 65% reserved.
Furthermore, 51% of tableware stands have sold out too.
The event will once again have an international feel, with 40% of exhibitors coming from outside Italy – from 38 different countries.
Germany heads this list, with 15% of companies, followed closely by Spain with 14%, France and the United States with 7% and the Netherlands and Switzerland with 6%.
Alongside the main exhibition, the event will play host to demonstrations and seminars, including workshops by the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI).
“Host is the jewel in the crown in our portfolio of events, and is a strategic asset for at least three reasons,” said Corrado Peraboni, CEO of Fiera Milano.
“The event represents our local hospitality industry well, plus ‘the world meets the world’ at this most international show, and finally Host is an active player in promoting the culture of hospitality in Italy.”
