Hoshizaki has unveiled its new eco-friendly, HFC-free refrigerators and freezers with what it terms the lowest energy consumption in the market, supporting its vision for a cool and clean world.
Renowned worldwide for its high quality ice machines, Hoshizaki continues to build on its reputation for sustainability, durability and reliability, with its new range of eco-friendly refrigerators and freezers.
The line-up uses only hydrocarbon ‘green’ refrigerants and foam propellants, optimising energy usage and reducing carbon footprint.
Recent research from the Danish Technological Institute has shown that refrigerator doors are opened and closed more than 100 times a day. In response to these findings, Hoshizaki’s new models have been designed with a unique air distribution feature to retain cold air and operate more efficiently.
Hoshizaki’s new refrigerators and freezers have been shown to save electricity by 74% and 47% respectively. For example, replacing a 660-litre model that uses traditional HFC refrigeration technology, with a Hoshizaki energy-efficient refrigerator of the same size will provide a saving of more than £800.
The Eco-Friendly range comes with an extended free five years parts and labour warranty.
The new line-up features eight ranges: Compact, Euro, Gastro 07, Gastro 08, Midi, Plus, Process and Twin, catering for all types of commercial kitchens.
The Compact upright cabinets are perfect for kitchens with limited space and are available in various heights. The Euro, Midi, Plus and Twin are all upright cabinets that include an advanced electronic controller, but differ in capacity and volume.
The Process upright series features roll-in and roll-through cabinets that are designed for temporary refrigerated storage within a production line.
Both the Gastro 07 1/1 GN and the Gastro 08 2/1GN counters can be used as island suites, placed against a wall or under an existing worktop.
