Hobart revolutionises compact cooking

Hobart Cooking Solutions has launched the Compact Kitchen Concept, comprised of several modules which can either be purchased separately or suited together to enable 11 different ways to cook.

The Bonnet brand units are said to save up to 40% of kitchen space compared to other cooking equipment and are: the 400mm-wide Equapan multifunctional pan, the Precipan twin multifunctional pan, Minijet combi oven, and Fridge Bloc refrigeration unit.

This cooking range is claimed to be energy efficient, has a footprint of 2.4metres long, and is said to offer 50% lower fuel use compared with a traditional range. Furthermore, no floor gulley is needed, as all the units have internal drainage.

Product manager, Hobart Cooking Solutions, Paul Godfrey said: “The Bonnet Compact Kitchen Concept has been 5 years in the making and sets out to understand the real needs of chefs in a confused market and to clearly define the equipment of tomorrow.
