Hobart is preparing to unleash its latest warewashing offering to the market in the shape of its Premax range of machines.
The high-end equipment has been developed by Hobart in Germany and introduces advanced patented technologies that are designed to bolster performance.
Premax will be available across Hobart’s full warewashing range including glasswashers, undercounter, passthrough, rack conveyor and flight-type machines and utensil washers.
Hobart claims the intelligent control systems built into Premax will help operators to slash running costs and meet energy efficiency targets.
Its Premax Flight Type Dishwasher, for instance, promises savings of up to 50% in wash water, 30% in energy and 80% in terms of chemicals in comparison with “established technologies”, according to the company.
“This is a major advance in warewash technology that delivers real improvements for operators,” said Tim Bender, UK product development manager – Warewashing, Hobart UK. “The Premax generation of warewashing equipment is at the cutting edge of energy efficiency and also provides numerous other commercial and practical advantages for caterers.”
He added: “The advancement is so great, that if the estimated 30,000 flight-type dishwashers in use across Europe were upgraded to the Premax standard, the power savings could provide energy for a city of one million people, while the water saved would be enough to supply 270,000 people – such a switch would also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 500,000 tons every year!”
