Hobart Independent brings Ecomax into digital age

The dealer-focused arm of Hobart Warewash, Hobart Independent, has launched a dedicated new website offering distributors what it says is simplicity, functionality and full machine specification at the touch of a button.

The launch of the new site, www.hobartindependent.co.uk, marks the first time that Hobart’s dealer exclusive range has been offered under the Ecomax banner, with the new five-strong Ecomax Plus range (a compact glasswasher, glasswasher/undercounter, hood-type and rack conveyor) replacing the BarAid brand.

In April, Hobart spoke to over 600 dealers in one of the largest bodies of equipment distributor research ever undertaken. The research focused on manufacturer/distributor relations and also what Hobart could do to better help its dealer partners specify the right machine for the right job.

The outputs helped shape the thinking behind the rebrand, and Hobart feels that offering Ecomax and Ecomax Plus alongside its Profi and Premax models is a more coherent ‘good, better, best’ portfolio.

The findings also helped form the look and functionality of Hobart Independent’s new site which focuses on economy, giving dealers quick access to the things they need most – technical spec and simplified sales literature.
