Hertfordshire kitchen house TAG Catering Equipment has announced that Scott Dackombe has joined its team.
He will serve as the company’s UK business development manager with a brief to generate sales and work with the company’s directors to raise the profile of the business.
Dackombe last role in the industry was at Jestic, where he served as business development director and held specific key account and brand responsibilities.
After leaving Jestic at the end of the summer, Dackombe — who also spent seven years at Hobart — told Catering Insight he was looking to take on a post that would enhance his knowledge of the industry.
Speaking for his appointment at TAG, he said: “The next role for me will have to be working in a position where I can learn more about the industry, whether that’s a different job title or specification, a different type of catering product or a more project-focused role.”
TAG Catering Equipment has been operating for more than 25 years. The company provides commercial kitchen design and installation services, as well as maintenance. It employs its own team of refrigeration, dishwashing and gas engineers to repair and service equipment.
Some of its key projects have involved Fortnum & Mason, the British Council and the London Hilton Metropole hotel.
