Hallmark Kitchens expands service and maintenance division

There will now be more Hallmark Kitchens vans on the road.

Edenbridge-based Hallmark Kitchens has expanded its service and maintenance division after a steady rise of reactive service work and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts.

As an established kitchen design and supply house, Hallmark is in a position via its service division to offer support and maintenance services, but more recently the firm has seen an increase in demand for both PPMs and reactive service work which has led to the distributor expanding it team by taking on new service engineers.

Chris Douglas, contracts director at Hallmark Kitchens, said: “We are very pleased with the organic growth of our service division in its ability to not only support our kitchen business but to generate its own incremental business in servicing and repairs of commercial catering equipment, which has ultimately led to our decision to expand.

“Our fully trained engineers aim to ensure a high first-fix completion rate, protect investment of equipment by delivering complete PPM contracts, and to lower energy costs and carbon consumption.”
