Kent-based dealer Hallmark Kitchens has worked in partnership with consultant Humble Arnold to deliver the hot beverage requirements at a London wine club.
The distributor signed up supplier, Caffeine Limited, to provide two Schaerer bean-to-cup coffee machines for social club, 67 Pall Mall.
The fine dining restaurant on the premises is headed up by renowned chef, Marcus Verberne, and while lunch and dinner sessions remain the most popular, breakfast traffic is said to be fast catching up.
Therefore the club required the new coffee machines to cater to this demand.
The units are both Coffee Art Supersteam models, making a full espresso coffee menu automatically, without the need for a barista.
The Touch IT control panel can be configured to make up to 40 different drinks, including optional special varieties.
Caffeine Limited says the Schaerer’s Supersteam milk wand foams milk better than a barista, due to its consistency and ability to be finely tuned to different drinks’ requirements.
The automatic cleaning programme is HACCP compliant, with the user following the instructions and animated images on the touchscreen to set the machine into action.
Niels Sherry, general manager at 67 Pall Mall, said: “The staff find the Schaerers very easy to operate.
“The Caffeine Limited team are great, taking time to do training with everyone on them.
“In fact, they pop in regularly to check we know what we’re up to and the machines are working as they should. Plus they maintain the units. They provide a complete coffee service.”
