Gtech gives Cotswold hotel its ‘best ever’ kitchen

Kitchen house Gtech Catering Services has fitted a range of new commercial catering equipment at The Broadway Hotel in the Cotswolds.

The company installed a Mareno Protagonista 90 Series at the venue after general manager, Andrew Swan, and his head chef, Chris Hutchings, made the Dawson-distributed brand their preferred prime cooking equipment supplier.

The Protagonista 90 range consists of 18 ranges totalling 140 configurations of gas and electric appliances.

Hutchings said the equipment in the kitchen is the best the hotel has ever had and would help it improve its food offering.

“Having such an elite range of equipment means we can concentrate our efforts on the job in hand and deliver the finest recipes in a timely fashion over and over again,” he said. “My team are over the moon with our new kitchen — it’s a real privilege to be part of such a stimulated team, in a fabulous hotel, with a magnificent menu.”

As well as providing the prime cooking suite, Dawson also supplied a Comenda C1300E hood type dishwasher and two undercounter FC3EA glasswashers.

Bath-based Gtech Catering Services was founded four years ago and has notched up a number of major project wins in the hotel sector. The company offers consulting, design, supply and installation services.
