Golden people shine at distributorship

Just 7% of UK organsiations recognised by of Investing In People (IIP)  achieve Gold Standard and CDG is one of only three businesses in Northamptonshire to hold the accolade.

CDG achieved IIP The Standard status back in February 2008 and Gold in 2011. To achieve Gold status, the business was required to demonstrate IIP The Standard requirements plus fulfil 126 additional evidence requirements, which CDG exceeded.

Helen Davis, Commercial Director, CDG added “To say we are extremely proud is an understatement. Having achieved The Standard in 2008, we set ourselves the huge task of being assessed against the full criteria in order to see what we do well and potentially where we might need further development.

• Investors in People is a voluntary standard, designed to help organisations improve their business performance through its people.

Assessment is based on first hand evidence from staff interviews. Businesses who sign up to Investors in People make a commitment to the development and training of their staff in order to meet organisational goals and objectives. Accreditations span The Standard, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
