Gold for Lainox after ‘Dragon’s Den-style’ pitch

Dawson Foodservice Equipment has retained its gold award for innovation at this year’s Lunch exhibition, which was held in London last week.

Manufacturers were tasked with pitching their products to a panel of industry judges and Dawson’s Lainox Heart Green range of combination ovens impressed them the most.

The ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitch was carried out on behalf of Dawson by Radford Chancellor, who provides specialist culinary consultancy services to the company.

Lainox made the Heart Green series available to the trade earlier this month. The range comes in 6, 8, 10, 14, 20 and 40 grid options and includes features such as ‘Green Fine Tuning’, a modulating burner system and high efficiency heat exchanger which reduces power wastage and emissions.

Glen Crossland, marketing manager at Dawson, said: “The Lainox Heart Green range is a true winner and we are proud to offer such an ecologically efficient product to compete at the forefront of the catering equipment market.”
