Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances, manufacturers of the Burco and Lec Commercial brands, will be returning to the Commercial Kitchen show this year.
At the NEC Birmingham on 6-7 June, visitors to stand C30 of the industry’s only dedicated catering equipment exhibition will have the opportunity to see the new Titan Induction Range Cooker.
Built using what is said to be the latest innovative induction technology, yet affordably priced to open up the induction market to small catering setups, the new British-manufactured range is designed to complement the existing Burco Commercial range.
Featuring a five zone 6mm thick glass induction cooking hob, complete with a large 2/1 Gastronorm compatible oven, the unit should also offer versatility. The induction range is compatible with both a single or multi-phase power supply.
The five independently controlled cooking zones, four x 1.9kW and one centrally located 2.6kW, also feature a ‘Boost’ mode for when additional power is required. This boost function allows the operator to inject a 10-minute power increase for when rapid heating is needed.
The Titan unit also features ‘Advanced Smart Pan Detection’ technology, meaning the unit will only ever consume power and generate heat when a pan is in place. There is a choice of three pre-set cooking controls, ‘melt’, ‘simmer’ or ‘cook’ along with the ability to select temperature settings on a 1-9 temperature control.
The Glen Dimplex stand will also showcase its latest Lec Commercial refrigeration appliances, including refrigerated prep counters, available in two, three or four door formats.
All the models in the Lec Commercial Prep Counter series feature a 100mm up-stand while a depth of 700mm and castors fitted as standard should ensure the units fit into an existing kitchen setup.
Furthermore, the Lec LED bottle cooler range will be on display, as well as Burco Commercial autofill water boilers, featuring built-in filtration.
