Frima further expands London team

Following last year’s appointment of Matthew O’Hagan as a regional sales manager for London, Frima has added another staff member to expand its sales coverage in this area even more.

Jean Ferragu has joined as an additional regional sales manager to cover Greater London. An experienced foodservice professional, Ferragu previously worked with Brakes and is a familiar face in the London catering market.

“I can think of hundreds of hospitality businesses in the capital that could really exploit the VarioCooking Center technology,” he said. “Multifunctional, space-saving, energy-saving, time saving, quality cooking results – in London’s commercial kitchens these are the key issues and the Frima addresses them all. It has the potential to become a ‘must have’ in modern kitchen design.”

Ferragu is a French national and has worked in foodservice in Europe and the UK. As well as French and English he speaks Spanish and Portuguese and has experience of both the sales and purchasing sides of the industry. “Jean’s background is ideal – he knows the market and brings an international insight to the team,” said Graham Kille, MD of Frima UK. “He also has a cosmopolitan attitude that will appeal to many of our customers – especially since, in many cases, he really can talk their language!”

Ferragu believes that Frima technology has been successful on the Continent. “The UK team is building sales rapidly – our vision is to have the same market penetration for the VarioCooking Center here as in countries like France, Germany and Switzerland,” he said. “We have a great opportunity, especially with the highly professional backup that Frima gives its distributors and customers.”
