Fulham Football Club’s new contract caterer has revealed that it will be involved in launching a brand new riverside café as part of its tie-up with the Championship outfit.
Delaware North Companies (UK) signed a deal this week to manage the catering operation at Fulham FC, including general admission concourses, hospitality boxes and lounges, and non-match day conferences and events.
From year three of the deal, which has the potential to run for 10, it will also be responsible for the catering and hospitality at the club’s new Riverside Stand, which is currently in planning stage.
And it revealed today that a new café overlooking the Thames would form part of this development and be included under Delaware North’s remit.
It is thought to be too early for the company to say how the kitchen design would pan out.
Doug Tetley, managing director of Delaware North Companies (UK), said it was delighted to have been awarded the catering contract.
“Craven Cottage has been the home of Fulham FC for the past 115 years, and we’re proud to add such a historic venue to our select portfolio of UK stadiums,” he commented.
