Fish restaurant uses MCT for fit-out

A fish and chip restaurant due to open in Thornham, Norfolk in April has used the services of Multi Catering Technologies to specify and commission the kitchen equipment.

Eric’s Fish & Chips is the brainchild of Eric Snaith, chef patron at Titchwell Manor which is also located in Thornham.

The 1,496ft2 premises will feature fryers and extraction systems from fish and chip shop frying equipment specialist KFE. MCT will deliver the stainless steel fabication and supply Williams refrigeration systems. MCT of Norwich is a specialist Williams supplier.

Andrew McPherson, general manager at Titchwell Manor Hotel told Catering Insight that the company had previously worked with MCT and Williams, while KFE was recommended to it as well.

Shaun Clarkson ID has designed the interiors to reflect a traditional British fish and chip restaurant with a subtle maritime theme. Once open, the business will cater for 80 covers in a combination of a dining room and an outdoor terrace.
