FEM is inviting the industry to a series of Vector Live events demonstrating the latest multi-cook oven, which has been developed in the USA by Alto-Shaam.
The demonstrations will be held at FEM’s headquarters in East Kilbride, Glasgow on Thursday 6 September and Thursday 8 November.
More events will also be held at Earls Barton, Northampton on Thursday 11 October, Thursday 25 October and Thursday 15 November.
The new Vector concept features four cooking chambers in one compact body, using ‘Structured Air Technology’ to cook food faster and more evenly.
The oven can cook four different food products, at four different temperatures, with four different fan speeds and four cook times, simultaneously.
The Vector Live demonstrations are being run by experienced chef Alan Evans. He says the Vector is something totally new: “It’s innovative, refreshing, and it’s a concept that really works.
“No need for extraction canopy, no water, no waste required, unsupervised cooking, no flavour transfers between chambers, totally programmable. No other oven has four separate temperature zones. It gives you everything, and a little bit more.”
