FCSI unveils chairman succession plan

Current FCSI vice chairman Andrew Etherington, principal of consultants, Andrew Etherington Associates, will take on the mantle of the society’s chairman when current incumbent, Niccola Boyd-Stevenson, steps down in June.

Simultaneously, past chairman David Bentley will return to the fold as vice chairman to replace Etherington after he moves up. Bentley will support the society’s executive while it plans its future succession.

FCSI is also continuing to support the delivery of UIFSM as a delivery partner of the Children’s Food Trust and LACA as the project moves into phase two.

This partnership has resulted in UK FCSI members providing consultancy services worth nearly £100,000. In the next stage, FCSI consultants will be assisting those schools whose uptake of free meals is below the DfE target.
