CEDA has put out a call for award entries after confirming that the FCSI will present a special project management award at the distribution association’s forthcoming annual conference.
The award for ‘Outstanding Excellence in Project Management of a Full Catering Installation Project’ must involve both an FCSI Professional Member and a CEDA Member, and relate to a project completed in 2011.
The judging panel will be assessing 11 separate areas of criteria, including the quality of the installation, client satisfaction, number of snags at handover and the value of the overall project and the amount spent on kitchen equipment.
Dealers and distributors can submit as many entries as they wish as long as each one includes different FCSI members and doesn’t exceed 1,000 words.
The submission date is Friday 13th April 2012.
Nominations will be judged by a panel of FCSI members who will discuss the entry with the FCSI member involved in the project.
CEDA says the entries should be submitted in PDF format to firstname.lastname@example.org before the closing date.
Last year saw Chester-based C&C Catering win the FCSI Award — and the overall CEDA Grand Prix Award — for Nomura.
The catering scheme within Nomura’s ambitious Project Shinkyo scheme was completed within 10 months of tendering and marked the largest contract C&C had ever delivered.
