Hobart Warewashing was awarded the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) award for Manufacturer of the Year.
Sales director of Hobart Warewashing UK, Tim Bender, said: “We’re delighted to accept this award from the FCSI – confirmation that our efforts in never taking a backwards step in terms of innovation and R&D have been noted.
“The accolade is made even sweeter, coming as it does from a collection of specialist planners and consultants for kitchen technology from around the globe. True experts in their field,” he added.
The accolade was collected in Vienna, during the FCSI conference which had the theme of: Food and Hospitality of the Future.
More than 200 specialist planners and consultants attended the conference in professional hotel, restaurant and large-scale catering kitchen design, working across the key markets of the UK, France, Germany and Italy.
The title, which lasts for 2 years, was awarded for innovation in Hobart’s FTPi and FTNi flight type machines.
Both are equipped with the patented twinLINE system, which makes it possible to wash the usual ware in the machine, while trays are simultaneously washed on a separate conveyor without changing the footprint.
The results are said to yields a 30% time saving allied to a remarkable increase in capacity.
