The Restaurant Show will return to London Olympia on October 1 for a three day event.

A big line up of industry experts and influencers has been announced, with over 450 exhibitors expected to attend.

Sustainability is hot on this year’s agenda and visitors will hear from sustainable food pioneer Doug McMaster.

McMaster is the founder of Silo Brighton, an eco restaurant that uses locally-sourced produce, who will be discussing his new venture and partnership.

This year will also feature the Bar & Pub Expo and the Catering Equipment Expo, which will showcase hundreds of exhibitors across the shows, as well as speaker sessions on the stage and live competitions including the National Chef of the Year.

Meanwhile, OpenTable will have a panel of experts discussing how hospitality can be combined with smarter technology.

On October 2, visitors can see the crowning of a new Young National Chef of the Year, with some of the industry’s brightest young stars competing. Plus several other culinary competitions will take place including The Kikkoman Masters and Compass Chef of The Year.

Show organisers William Reed Business Media feel that the inclusion of Bar and Pub and Catering Equipment Expo broadens the event’s appeal and means visitors can find inspiration, learn about the latest trends, source products and suppliers or simply network with friends and colleagues.
