Combi oven launches are coming thick and fast at the moment — with German firm Eloma the latest brand to unveil the fruits of its R&D efforts.
Hot on the heels of competitors such as Convotherm, MKN and Lainox, which have all rolled out new machines in the past month, Eloma has announced the launch of its latest high-end combi steamer.
The ‘Genius’ model boasts a MultiTouch display featuring Eloma’s own MT technology, providing a durable control panel and intuitive controlling that makes handling easy for whoever is using it.
“Our goal at Eloma is that the appliance fits to the customer and not the customer to the appliance” said Dr. Hilmar Rudloff, managing director of Eloma.
Besides proven technical features, such as the SPS Steam Protection System and the Multi-Eco-System, the Genius now features functions such as ‘Last 20’, ‘Multi Cooking’ and ‘Quick Set’to ensure even easier cooking processes.
Through the Last 20 function, for example, the past 20 cooking processes can be seen clearly at a glance and instantly restarted. The feature also applies to manual cooking processes. “This is only available at Eloma,” insists Rudloff.
Germany-based was founded in 1975 and joined the Ali Group in 2008. More than 160 employees now work at its offices in Maisach, near Munich, and in Bad Gottleuba, near Dresden. Eloma has been supplying combi ovens and bake-off ovens to the UK market for more than 20 years.
It will display the new Genius combi oven at Hotelympia later this month.
