Online catering equipment dealer eCatering has decided that Black Friday is going to be its biggest 2017 sale day.
The firm has reduced some ex-demo lines by up to 90%, dropped the prices on many of its products and is offering an extra 5% off at checkout on everything.
eCatering’s new marketing manager, Mike Morris, said: “Most Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals start early around 17 November, but we feel that these events are all about offering the best possible prices just for the period which they are meant for, that’s why we have a few Early Bird offers in the 3 days running up to the events but then everything has a discount only on Friday and Monday with a further 5% off at checkout to make sure our customers get the best possible deal.”
The dealer offers a range of equipment including the Daewoo, Samsung, Sharp, Buffalo, Burco, Rational and Pitco brands, as well as its own brand machines which it claims are affordable and energy efficient.
Elsewhere, Northumberland distributor Smith’s Front of House has discounted its ranges for Black Friday, with prices applicable until Monday 27 November.
Products within the offer include a Caterlite manual ice maker, a Buffalo 10 litre automatic water boiler – plus microwaves from both of these brands, Dynamic stick blenders, and a Hygiplas chopping board and knife set.
Furthermore, recently-launched distributor Sharpes Commercial Kitchens aimed to beat the Black Friday discount rush by introducing deals from last Monday.
The Scunthorpe-based company has reduced prices on the Panasonic NE1853 Microwave oven, the Burco AFT10 auto fill water boiler, the Sammic TR-350 stick blender and the Milantoast single slice rotary toaster.
Suppliers are also joining in the Black Friday theme, with Project Distribution cutting prices on its icemakers, including the Icematic E25, M132, E50 and F125C models.
