David Freeman has been appointed the new national sales manager for the Acme Group.
He has 39 years’ experience within the commercial catering equipment industry, including most recently as the government account manager for maintenance specialist, Serviceline.
Prior to that he was national contract sales manager at the Carford Group between 2005 and 2013 and MD at Caterserv from 1999 to 2005.
He has also held positions with major manufacturers including WM Still, Hobart and Electrolux.
Freeman commented: “I am always keen to put the customer first, and I have found the answer and the very best solution with the Acme Group and their approach to customer service and satisfaction.
“The ‘service department’ for any company can be another phrase for ‘complaints department’ but the speed and efficiency with which you deal with customer comments can turn negatives into positives, praise and further sales. Within any company the people you have to listen to is the customer. In national and key accounts the account manager is the voice of the customer.
“I believe Acme Group has the procedures, technology, staff and resources in place which gives me the tools to provide the service and after sales service for the entire new and existing client base.”
