Linda Lewis Kitchens has kicked off a new recruitment drive to attract dealers interested in distributing Cuppone pizza equipment on a preferred basis.
As revealed in Catering Insight last month, LLK is engineering a change in strategy for Cuppone sales, with the product set to be sold through selected dealers in future.
That process is now underway, with LLK targeting only those dealers that can offer commitment to the Cuppone brand. The Cuppone range currently encompasses pizza ovens, dough mixers and pizza presses.
“With the pizza market currently worth £1.85 billion in the UK and set to grow by 22% by 2016, our aim is to establish a comprehensive and exclusive network of dealers that will help the Cuppone brand grow too,” said LLK’s managing director Linda Lewis.
She said that dealers would be able to take advantage of a series of training workshops that are being specially organised to boost sales.
The first one will commence in early 2014 at First Choice’s operation in Cannock. The workshops are designed to demonstrate the huge potential in adding pizza to the menu and the versatility and cost savings that Cuppone pizza ovens can bring.
The workshops will also enable sales staff to confidently sell the Cuppone range and its benefits to potential clients.
Lewis added: “Given Cuppone’s 50 year old brand heritage and pedigree, it deserves to be distributed only by those dealers who recognise its true value and are firmly committed to these superior products. In addition to the training workshops, we are also providing new and existing dealers with an advertising package, complete with free artwork, to help them promote their new Cuppone offering.”
