Catering equipment distributor Court Catering took a break from installing commercial kitchens last week to take on a gruelling challenge of an altogether different nature.
The London-based firm entered a team into the Men’s Health ‘Survival of the Fittest’ competition at Battersea Power Station.
The 10K race is crammed to the rafters with obstacles, and actually takes runners on a journey into the iconic power station building itself.
Court’s managing director, Nick Howe, took part in the race, along with sons Sam and Charlie, and Simon Haworth. The Court team was also joined by an additional guest member in the shape of Malcolm Harling, sales director at Williams Refrigeration.
“As they say, we survived, although we were a tad, battered and bruised!” said Nick Howe. “The money we raised from competing in the event is going to the Sue Ryder Hospice.”
This is the second year running that Court has entered a team into the race.
