Court Catering Equipment is toasting the completion of a mammoth project at the Park Plaza near Westminster Bridge, which saw it deliver and install more than 200 individual pieces of kitchen equipment.
The London-based outfit designed, specified and installed a huge variety of equipment for use throughout all areas of the newly-opened hotel, including kit for the main kitchens, adjoining pantries and bars, coffee shops, function rooms and staff kitchens.
The project involved the installation of 10 combi ovens, including five 40-grid units, as well as more than 80 additional pieces of prime cooking equipment from central island cooking suites and bratt pans to a tandoori oven and induction units.
Dish and glasswashing equipment amounted to 32 separate items, including undercounter dish and glasswashers, hood-type machines, a corner unit fitted with an integral dryer and a rack transport dishwasher.
On the refrigeration side, Court Catering placed 55 items of equipment, including counter and upright fridges and freezers and fish fridges, at the hotel. 17 coldrooms were also installed, including specialist wine, dairy, pastry, fridge and freezer rooms.
Additionally, the firm oversaw the delivery of more than 200 shaped work benches — many with sinks and drawers —wall shelves, wall cupboards and sink units were installed, and 37 sets of stand-alone nylon coated storage shelving.
