Commercial Kitchen kicks off with a bang

Over 2,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s Commercial Kitchen show.

This year’s Commercial Kitchen trade show is finally upon us, and Catering Insight will not only be reporting from the specialist catering equipment trade show, but will be an integral part of the seminar programme, chairing two panel discussions.

Today and tomorrow at the Birmingham NEC, Catering Insight will be available on stand A29 to answer any of your queries about the magazine, daily e-newsletter, Power List or Catering Insight Awards.

Doors open at 10am each day, closing at 5pm today and 4.30pm tomorrow. Over 2,000 high level trade attendees are expected to head to the show to see the more than 100 exhibitors.

And don’t miss editor Clare Nicholls chairing an essential debate on ‘Big Questions for Kitchen Design Houses’ from 12.30-1pm today, featuring panellists comprising CEDA chairman and director of Inox Equip, Mark Kendall; Anna McNamara, MD of Catering Equipment Solutions (Peterborough); Jack Sharkey, owner and MD of Vision Commercial Kitchens; and CEDA’s southern region chair Cathy Wilcox, MD of Wilcox Burchmore.

Subsequently, at 2pm on the same day, Nicholls will follow up by leading CEDA’s Award Winning Kitchen Design panel, which will unite this year’s CEDA Grand Prix Award winners of Best Small, Best Medium and Best Large Projects to discuss their cutting edge commercial kitchen design and execution. This will involve Gratte Brothers Catering Equipment’s sales director, Paul Gilhooly, TAG Catering Equipment’s project and creative director Tyron Stephens-Smith, and CHR Food Service Equipment MD Paul Neville.
