Warewashing manufacturer Comenda has officially confirmed the appointment of Nick Falco as its brand director.
Falco took up the newly-created senior role this week and will be in charge of business development for Comenda’s warewash portfolio.
Comenda’s managing director, Joakim Granfors, said the former Meiko and Hobart man’s skills and experience would be invaluable in helping it to develop consultant specification and major group business.
He said Falco would work directly with Comenda’s management team on a worldwide basis as well as in conjunction with Dawson Foodservice Equipment, which manages the brand in the UK.
Granfors commented: “Nick Falco will further develop and strengthen Comenda’s position on the international commercial dishwashing market, using the full extent of our new product development and technologically-innovative systems.”
Mike Butt, Dawson’s managing director, said the addition of Falco to the team was an important step as it looks to grow the business.
“We are delighted with the recruitment and think it demonstrates the commitment to the Comenda brand and the credibility and the confidence in the new innovation and energy-saving technology that Nick is going to spearhead and drive in the future,” he said.
