UK distribution company, G & G Goodfellows has launched Figgo’s spring range of tableware into the market.
Figgjo, a Norwegian porcelain producer, has been working exclusively with G & G for over 6 months. “Figgjo has done it again,” said Valda Goodfellow, co-owner of G & G, “Its new spring additions are really sophisticated and prove that it can cater for all types of dining.”
The new Figgjo Brem series consists of three plates with their flat bases allowing the creation of sophisticated presentations. “Our new Brem series of three characteristic deep plates is designed by Constance Gaard Kristiansen and Wilma Greim,” said Erik Lorange Lindberg, product development manager at Figgjo AS, “and they are great for informal environments as well as for fine dining.”
The manufacturer’s Base series has also been given a revamp and now features a handle, giving it a soft and informal style.
The Base series is also available in the colourful Skygge and Dryss decorations. An alternative to the traditional round plate, a new square plate was also launched. It has a soft look, designed to give lunch dishes a modern twist.
“It’s very inspiring to collaborate with Goodfellows, because of their great insight and experience within the field of dinnerware and culinary equipment,” said Lindberg.
Simmer Vikeså, MD of Figgjo AS, added: “We wanted to ensure our brand had the best possible representation in the UK and we believe that G & G is the ideal partner to bring our brand forward. We want to develop into areas where G & G has a particularly strong influence and we look forward to working closely with it.”
