Commercial warewashing manufacturer Classeq has appointed Anthony Matthews as sales and marketing executive.
Matthews’ role will involve working on marketing communications, as well as building solid relationships with distributors and establishing new opportunities for growth.
He will work across the whole Classeq range of warewashers and its Eau de Vie and Ice-O-Matic machines.
Classeq said Matthews has “considerable commercial awareness” after formerly holding managerial roles for the Open University and a diamond company.
“This is a significant addition for the future of the business,” said Nick Burridge, sales director at Classeq. “Anthony brings a significant wealth of relevant experience to the company and will help us in achieving our ambitious growth plans.”
Matthews said that he was already “getting stuck in” with exploring new developments and opportunities. “My new role is to make a difference, make an impact for future growth and find out what is working in terms of sales and leads,” he said.
