CKS helps Blackpool upgrade bangers to Cordon Bleu

Blackpool Football Club’s match day guests no longer have to settle for a half time hot dog. Instead, they will be offered “a spectacular modern British menu with some international twists,” in the ground’s new hotel restaurant.

Rowley’s Restaurant, located within the stadium at Bloomfield Road, is capable of serving 120 covers from a kitchen that was designed and installed by CKS Catering.

“We are over the moon with the equipment, installation and the layout of the new kitchen in Rowley’s. We worked closely with Rick [Simkin] and the team of chef’s at the restaurant to make sure we provided the perfect solutions for such a diverse menu in an extremely busy environment,” said Diane Moden of CKS Catering.

“By providing equipment from top UK suppliers including Lainox, Mareno, Comenda and Fosters, we are safe in the knowledge that the restaurant has the best products for the task in hand,” she added.

General manager Rick Simkin said he was delighted with the installation and equipment. “CKS has provided everything we have needed, on time as promised, every time.

“The equipment we have is of the highest quality so we are safe in the knowledge our kitchen will continue to perform around the clock, always meeting the needs of our customers.

“What really stands out for us is the Lainox Heart combination ovens, the fully programmable units are loaded with our recipes created by head chef Graham Floyd which enables us to offer constant quality any time, any day. Working in a small footprint the combination ovens are an essential for us here at Rowley’s,” he explained.
