Preston distributor CHR hosted more than 30 customers and business partners at a special open day at Promart’s factory in Merseyside yesterday.
The companies organised the event to showcase the ECO-CHEF bespoke suites designed by CHR and manufactured by Promart.
CHR launched the range in response to customer concerns over the increasing costs of energy and the complexity of purchasing large bespoke items internationally.
The CE-marked suites contain individual appliances from CHR’s core supply base and feature smart metre technology to track total energy and utility consumption.
Attendees got to view the latest bespoke cooking suite to come off the cooking line. It will shortly take up residence at The Fishpool Inn, which is part of the Nelson Hotel Group.
“It was a good opportunity to invite the client down to sign it off before it left the factory and then we decided to open the doors to the rest of the market to come and have a look,” said sales director Paul Neville. “We have had distributors, consultants, end-users, main contractors, M&E, and our own staff here.”
