The number of professionals who have passed CESA’s Certified Food Service Programme exam has now topped 160, the catering equipment body has revealed.
The training scheme is the specialist qualification developed by CESA and accredited by the University of West London.
Its objective is to raise the levels of professionalism throughout the foodservice sector, by giving both catering operators and suppliers a better understanding of their industry.
The scheme provides a general overview of the numerous areas and disciplines that go into effective and efficient foodservice design and operation.
CESA says there are four new CFSP programmes running in 2012.
The latest graduates of the CFSP training scheme will be awarded their accreditations at a special event during Hotelympia.
