Catering Foodservice Solutions (CFS) has carried out the installation of two kitchens at Yeshiva Ketana College in Salford.
CFS was selected to design, supply and install both kitchen areas as part a wider £2m refurbishment contract to provide a new residential education centre for students of the Jewish faith.
CFS said a large quantity of Moorwood Vulcan kitchen equipment from Manitowoc was put into the site, while ventilation was supplied by Cyclone and installation carried out its sister company ACS Group.
“As part of the design process all aspects of the kitchen lay-out and ventilation systems where discussed at length with senior members of the college to ensure all requirements relating to food preparation and religious practices were complied with,” said senior sales manager Barrie Webster.
Additionally, CFS revealed that all exterior grills and housings for the extraction and air input systems were powder coated to match the stone work to ensure the exterior aesthetics of the building were not impacted.
