CESA will be hosting the next session in its Building Business Seminars programme tomorrow.
The latest topic is ‘Strategies for an Uncertain World’, with ‘The Digital Transformation’ to follow on 7 June; and ‘Profit in a Low-Price, High-Cost Economy’ on 19 July.
All three take place at CESA’s offices at Rotherwick House, London E1W 1YZ, running from 10:30 – 14:00.
The seminars, run by business management consultant Martyn Drake, are aimed at CEOs and senior management within the catering equipment industry. Attendance is free for CESA members and £100 + VAT for non-members.
Tomorrow’s ‘Strategies for an Uncertain World’ seminar will cover major trends and changes in the catering equipment industry; how to define a business’s future; and leadership by creating clarity in a time of uncertainty.
The seminar’s aims include giving delegates a clear understanding of both the pitfalls and the opportunities of the current marketplace, the knowledge of where investment should be made, and the confidence to take managed risks.
Julian Shine, MD at Shine Catering Systems, attended an earlier seminar and was impressed. “Martyn enables you to look at the same old problems with a different perspective, uncovering those obscured opportunities,” he said.
CESA chair Glenn Roberts added: “We live in a period of unprecedented uncertainty.
“The seminars’ aim is to build on delegates’ acumen, experience and perception, to help them formulate strategies that will allow their businesses to thrive in difficult times.”
