CEDA is launching its first Industry Academy and is calling on members and platinum partners to put forward candidates to join.
The Academy is designed to encourage rising talent to share their experiences, knowledge and ambition.
Meeting twice a year, and keeping in regular contact through online and digital communications, the Academy is designed to provide a forum for the next generation to meet, share knowledge, best practice and ideas to develop those involved individually and the businesses that they work for.
CEDA is asking existing members and platinum partners to look at their talented employees who are under 30 and encourage them to come forward and join the Academy.
“The Academy wants the next generation of talent within CEDA, from all job disciplines in the foodservice equipment sector, to be able to meet and discuss the challenges and opportunities that they are facing on a daily basis. Through communication and the sharing of knowledge, solutions can be found that will make a real and positive impact on members businesses,” commented CEDA director general Adam Mason.
He added: “This as a real opportunity to encourage positive change in the foodservice sector, engaging and giving a voice to the next generation of company and industry leaders.”
The twice yearly meetings will be held in relevant venues including foodservice operations and equipment design and manufacturers.
