Essex-based dealer CCE held its first open day at its Langdon Hills offices on 29 July.
Suppliers and guests watched demonstrations of the latest equipment including the Frima 112T, which swiftly cooked porridge, omelettes and a chicken and chorizo pasta dish.
This was followed by chicken and steak grilled by the Synergy Grill 630, new to the market, which features a 13A plug, and is designed to be easy to clean.
The Thermodyne 700NDNL warmer held all the food, while the Rational White Efficiency SCC-WE61 delivered bacon and egg baps followed by jerk chicken, and then self-cleaned.
Other equipment on display included the Valentine Evo Fryer and the Induction Unit, as well as the Ovention Matchbox oven.
“All of the appliances delivered the best of food topped with great innovation so our guests could really appreciate the importance and efficiency of the equipment!” said CCE’s marketing assistant, Debbie Denton.
Refrigeration equipment demonstrated comprised Jestic’s Multifresh Irinox blast chiller, an Adande double draw unit with freezer and blast chill/fridge facility, and the Nemox Gelato 5K CREA, which froze ice cream in 30 minutes.
Cleaning came courtesy of the Winterhalter UCLE warewasher.
Denton added: “Our guests were able to see some new equipment in action and taste the end result. New ideas were flying to and fro and a tour to meet the team behind our two manufacturing fabrication factories gave everyone a great insight into what we can achieve for our clients when it comes to a truly bespoke kitchen.
“With Reality Finance on hand to give advice on leasing to assist with capital and cash flow, CCE delivered the whole package from beginning to end. Yes there will be more open days!”
