Chester-based distributor C&C has finished a staff dining area project at accountant KPMG’s Manchester office in St Peters Square.
Working closely with Jackie Snaith of Chapel Consultants, C&C was tasked with providing state of the art catering facilities capable of handling the demand of an extremely busy corporate dining area, offering a wide variety of food around the clock.
The facility would have to cope with serving 700 members of staff and some 30 partners, therefore the distributor helped to provide a grab and go area, coffee bar and deli, and a large central production kitchen.
The latter houses equipment including Rational White efficiency combination ovens, Frima cooking centres, Ambach prime cooking equipment and fully remote refrigeration systems and cabinets.
From contract appointment to the final handover, C&C installed and project managed a number of areas at KPMG Manchester with works running smoothly over a 10 month period.
Given the success of the Manchester project, KPMG has now appointed C&C to supply, install and project manage a similar outfit at its Leeds branch.
