Catering web giant gets on the ball

Web-based catering equipment supplier Alliance Online is hoping the World Cup will bring a spike in sales over the next four weeks.

The company is kicking off a special promotion that will see customers gain a 25% discount on their orders through a ‘Spot the Ball’ competition.

To win, customers need to find one of the hidden footballs scattered across its website and enter the unique code at the checkout to redeem their discount.

The offer ends on July 13 and is eligible for orders worth more than £100.

“Sporting events don’t come much bigger than the World Cup and many of our customers will be hoping to fill their establishments with football fans watching the tournament over the coming month,” said Mike Hardman, marketing manager at Alliance Online.

“We came up with the ‘Spot the Ball’ offer as a bit of fun and also to help them make some great savings on all the supplies they need.”

Alliance Online is one of the UK’s largest suppliers for the catering, leisure, healthcare and hospitality industries, stocking more than 18,000 product lines.
