Catering Insight is pleased to announce its inaugural ‘Catering Equipment of the Year’, showcasing the most exciting commercial kitchen equipment launches of 2014.
Manufacturers, suppliers, importers and distributors are invited to submit their nominations for this year’s best or most innovative kit to be part of a special December 2014 issue of the magazine.
The edition will contain an indispensable guide to the stand-out items of catering equipment released in the UK this year.
The only stipulation is that to be considered for inclusion, nominated products must have been launched in the UK market after 1 January 2014.
Catering Insight’s ‘Catering Equipment of the Year’ will showcase 50 of the best foodservice products released this year, with 10 brands set to be crowned 2014 ‘Catering Equipment of the Year’ winners in their specific product categories.
Four finalists and one overall winner will be announced for the following categories:
– Prime cooking & ranges
– Specialist cooking equipment
– Food preparation
– Beverage equipment & ice machines
– Counters & serveries
– Light equipment
– Waste & FOG management
– Ventilation & kitchen safety
Once the 10 overall winners and 40 finalists have been decided, Catering Insight will present the results in the December 2014 issue, including an image and summary of each product’s merits.
Deadline for entry is Tuesday 28 October.
Perfectly placed to mark the close of 2014, ‘Catering Equipment of the Year’ will honour the best new additions to the UK foodservice equipment market place over the past 12 months and provide a valuable snapshot of product evolution in the commercial kitchen space.
Commenting on the launch of the initiative, Catering Insight editor, Andrew Seymour, said: “It has been a progressive year as far as product development is concerned, with manufacturers battling hard to raise the bar in terms of performance, efficiency and design.
“Our aim is to document the latest and greatest kitchen kit now available to the UK market and recognise the brands that have played their part in moving the industry forward over the past 12 months.”
The nomination process is incredibly easy and the nomination form can be downloaded here.
Companies are free to nominate more than one product, so long as they have been launched in 2014.
Once filled in, the completed form can be emailed, along with a print-quality image of the product, to Catering Insight editor Andrew Seymour here.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday 28 October, giving all interested parties ample time to send their ‘Catering Equipment of the Year’ nominations.
As the ‘Catering Equipment of the Year’ results will only be unveiled in the special December issue of Catering Insight, companies interested in taking advantage of advertising or marketing opportunities around the edition should contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
